LANDSCAPE DESIGN OBJECTIVES
To create an experiential live-work-play environment that harmoniously blends sustainable, landscape, horticulture and agricultural architecture and design within the design city fabric of Seoul, South Korea.
Water
Rain water harvesting from roof and open-air spaces is utilized for irrigation. As plants are irrigated, root systems naturally and biologically filtrate water removing toxins and other particles.
Agriculture
Growing crops in vertical, controlled environments has many advantages. Vertical farming allows more production in a smaller footprint. Plants naturally cool buildings, produce oxygen and also reduce air-borne toxins.
Education/Culture
An engaging and participatory educational and cultural program for the building will broaden the mind, body and spirit of the inhabitants and users. The user will not only learn about the different plan communities but also immerse themselves in the spirit of each particular space. Public spaces and amenities provide users with places to celebrate, play and relax.
